Donate to RTQC through Birdies for Charities

May 19, 2015 - The John Deere Classic is fast approaching. Rebuilding Together Quad Cities is one again a pledge charity (#34) for the Birdies for Charity Program. In addition to your donation, Birdies for Charity matches the first 5-10% depending upon total pledged, thus increasing the impact of your donation!

Donations $1500 or more can be made online by clicking the graphic at left to visit the Birdies For Charity Online Donation Page. Donations less than $1500 must be made via a printed pledge form. If you would like us to mail a pledge form(s) to you, Contact RTQC and let us know how many pledge forms you need. You might even qualify to win a car or one of several other prizes.

RTQC Rehabs Transitional Housing for Women and Children

April 26, 2015 - RTQC mobilizes 25 John Deere volunteers to do light rehab work on transitional housing for homeless women and children. Activities included painting, light repairs, safety improvements, and light carpentry projects. Read more about this in the Quad City Times article.
 
 

200 volunteers tackle home improvement, yard projects

September 24, 2014 - In a first-time collaborative effort, the local agencies of Neighborhood Housing Services, Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Quad-Cities joined forces Saturday for a combined work day. With a total volunteer force of more than 200 people, including their regular volunteers, the three agencies assisted residents with home repairs, improvements, yard cleanups and beautification projects. RTQC to Partner with Multiple Agencies for Beauty and the Bluff

August 15, 2014 - Rebuilding Together Quad Cities will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity, United Neighbors, and several other agencies/charities to spruce up the Davenport Hilltop neighborhood, or the area between 10th to Locust Street between Pershing and Scott Streets. Over a hundred volunteers will be participating in multiple projects made possible through a generous $50,000 Leading the Way Home grant from Wells Fargo Banks.
 
 

Iowa Mortgage Association Charity Golf Tournament results in a $7,400 Donation to RTQC

May 17, 2014 - For the third consecutive year, RTQC was named the charity of choice for the Iowa Mortgage Association's Annual Charity Golf Tournament. In return for providing volunteers to work the tournament, members of the IMA presented RTQC with a check in the amount of $7,400. Iowa Mortgage Association Annual Charity Golf Tournament results in a $7,200 Donation to RTQC

August 7, 2013 - For the second year in a row, RTQC was the charity of choice for the Iowa Mortgage Association's Annual Charity Golf Tournament. In return for providing volunteers to work the tournament, members of the IMA presented RTQC with a check in the amount of $7,200. RTQC Receives $2,000 Grant from the Rauch Family Foundation

July 28, 2013 - RTQC is pleased to announce that we were recently selected to receive a $2,000 grant to fund emergency home repairs from the Rauch Family Foundation as part of its 2013-2014 grant cycle. We are very appreciative of this award and for your support over the years.

RTQC Executive Director Named President of QCHC

July 3, 2013 - RTQC congratulates Rod Jennings, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Quad Cities, on your election to President of the Quad Cities Housing Council. QCHC is a group of 40 nonprofit agencies dealing with low-income housing and local bankers to provide the resources for creating housing opportunities that promote economic and community development. Agencies apply for grants through the SCHC for projects related to home repair, new construction, and programs related to low-income homeowners.

RTQC Receives $21,000 from QC Parrot Heads Havana Day Dreamin

Kempy Stark and RTQC featured on Greatest American Heroes series

November 18, 2012 - During a recent concert appearance in the Quad Cities, multi-platinum country artist and philanthropist Trace Adkins paid a visit to one of our RTQC project sites as part of his Great American Heroes series to recognize long time volunteer and former RTQC board member, Kempy Stark, for the impact he has on the community through the work he does as part of RTQC.

RTQC rehabs Veterans' fourplex

November 9, 2012 - Rebuilding Together Quad Cities partnered with The Home Depot of Bettendorf and volunteers from John Deere, Wells Fargo, and members of the Iowa Mortgage Association to do light rehab on a fourplex occupied by Veterans.
